Detailed Tasks and Phases

The project was broken down into several tasks, each with specific start and end dates, as well as assigned team members. Refer to the provided image for a detailed view of the project plan.

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles were assigned based on what team members felt confident in and what they wanted to learn more about. This way, everyone could contribute something they were good at while also challenging themselves with new tasks.

Resource Allocation

We were told that the project budget was 180 hours, fitting the 7.5sp in the course, and the project would span the entire semester. This helped us manage our time and allocate tasks effectively.

Project Management Tool

We used Microsoft Project for managing the project. It helped us with scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress.

Contingency Planning

We included a buffer of about 4 weeks plus an extra week for the Easter holiday. This gave us room to handle any unforeseen issues without disrupting the overall timeline.

Phase Completion Criteria

Each phase had criteria to ensure it was ready to move on to the next phase. For example, all functional specifications had to be clear before starting the coding phase. This made sure we didn't start tasks without having all the necessary details in place.
