What is the most natural way to get information about bus scedules or other well organised and structured dataschedules?
The goal is task will be to investigate , and do research on, the best way for different groups of users, in different situations, to get travel information. These results can be used to develop a new method for travel information retrieval. The work can be done together with the FUIROS project, and new modes like Speech, GPS, Maps, and Real-time data integration and route updates could also be investigated.The logs from AtB can be used to see how many and what kind of questions the users ask from the different services.users bus habits in Trondheim. Is information about the bus position something the users would want? We will start off by doing some field studying. This includes asking AtB users about their travel habits and if they use information services to find the bus schedules. Combined with a literature study we will use the information to create a mobile application.
Our thought is to see if the bus positions is possible to integrate to a mobile application. How the the information is displayed is yet to be specified, either by a query on the bus one wish to find, or a map containing every bus in route. Unknown User (olekna)
