Before you can begin your Master’s thesis you must normally have completed all ordinary courses in your Master’s programme, and submitted the specialization project for evaluation. If you have remaining courses in your degree, but still wish to begin your thesis work, you must apply to the Faculty to begin the thesis with remaining courses. A maximum of 2 remaining courses may be allowed, provided that your thesis supervisor can confirm that the remaining courses will not affect your ability to complete your thesis work. If you wish to apply to begin your thesis work with remaining courses, please use the application form available here.

Registering your thesis

When starting the master thesis you will prepare a thesis agreement.

  1. Register your master agreement in SharePoint,  it will be digitally signed
  2. Master agreement is individual, and everyone completes their own agreement. In the agreement you register your master partner if you co-write your thesis.  Also list your (if any) cooperation with an organization
  3. Courses: leave the field open, your courses are regulated by your education plan
