Selection of the project work

It is important to think thoroughly prior to select the project topic for two specific reasons: (1) impact on academic score (2) type of work (experimental, numerical, field, etc.). Some project have well defined path including the goal, objectives and tasks. It is very difficult to deviate as those tasks are part of the on-going project work, and you, as a student, join the teams, and expect to contribute in-line with the well defined tasks.
