Common names: No common name. All
Euscorpius were previously placed in the family Chactidae.
This species was recently described from mountain areas (1400 to 2400 mteres) in
northern Albania. This species belongs to the "E. mingrelicus species complex", which
is poorly investigated.
Distribution: Only known from Albania.
Habitat: This species is found in mountainous
areas. Little is known about the biology of this species.
Venom: No medical data available, but data from
other Euscorpius species suggest local effects only. Mildly venomous. Harmless scorpion,
which rarely will use its stinger.
