The historic center of Porto is today a shrinking city
center, loosing much of its population due to negligence
of buildings and a building structure not suited to moder
needs.
Void is a Hostel located in this center. It is a transfor-
mation project where we aim to merge four abandoned
buildings together into a Hostel, making these buildings
more functional and efficient, whilst maintaining
and showcasing the history and structure of the build-
ings.
