The project is an investigation of collective student
housing. In times of ever increasing demand for studen
housing the study’s primary concern is not to fulfill so
quantitative demand of the greater student group, but
rather to understand housing needs on an individual
scale.
A future development of Moholt Student Village is used
case for the project as it explores the architectural pote
tial of collective student housing. A phenomenon where
the individual home extends from the small private unit
out into common areas, confronting and merging with
the homes of a multitude of fellow dwellers. A network
intimate personal refuges inspiring interaction and soci
life.
