As the chair of the board of CenSES and Pro-Rector
for research at NTNU, I am pleased to say that CenSES
is a central part of NTNU’s commitment within energy
related research. NTNU recently established a new
strategic Energy program, making energy research
one of our four thematic focus areas also in the next
10 years.
One of our ambitions at NTNU is that CenSES will
play a key role in promoting knowledge and defining
the decision space for policy makers and companies,
especially regarding Norway´s role in the European
transition to a sustainable energy system.
This will be done in close cooperation between NTNU
and the other national and international research
partners participating in the centre.
In the process I look forward to see a high number of
publications coming out of the research as well as the
important presence of CenSES researchers on both
European and national arenas.
