EFFEKT
EFFEKT
Research objective
EFFEKT is a three-year research project with the objective to develop innovative production strategies and technologies for competitive production of high-tech marine equipment with world-class performance in Norway.
It exploits strategies and methods from mass manufacturing to improve responsiveness and efficiency in one-of-a-kind-manufacturing to supply customized thrusters with reduced cost and shorter delivery time in the global ship equipment market
In this project the focus will be on the four important research and development activities:
Production strategy in Egineer-to-order (ETO) production
Lean ETO production logistics
Flexible auotmation systems
Real time supervision and control
Involved in the project: Jan Ola Strandhagen, Erlend Alfnes
