This has been ongoing for many years, and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, and other organizations, cite this as a potential traffic safety problem. This article presents a state-of-the art on the problem of meltwater runoff and suggests venues for future research which may strengthen the argument that it actually causes traffic safety issues.
