The bivalve molluscs of Varangertjorden, northern Norway

Abstract
A preliminary account of the Bivalvia of Varangerfjorden is presented. It has been compiled from a literature survey and recent collections made by the authors. In total 65 species are reported, six of which were not previously mentioned from the Varanger district. They are: Altenaeum dawsoni, Mysella bidentata, Montacuta substriata, Cerastoderma edule, Acanthocardia echinata and Mya pseudoarenaria.
