Correction Problem of Pavement Evaluation with FWD Deflection

Abstract

The asphalt pavement with bounded base works linear elastically under FWD impact load 40～60kN. Different pavement has different contact pressure even though the same height of FWD falling weight, and the difference can be more than 10% at the center of the load plate. The regressive relation between the deflections under standard (50KN) and the other load was established. The statistic formula was also given for the transfer between FWD and Benkelman Beam deflection in Jilin province.
