Dr. Srinivasulu Cherukupalli is an innovative young professional chemist specializing in Synthetic Organic and Medicinal Chemistry. Cherukupalli has recently completed his post-doctoral fellowship from the Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Shandong University and the project involved the design, synthesis, and pharmacological evaluation of novel phenylalanine derivatives as HIV-1 NNRTIs, HIV-1 and HBV capsid protein inhibitors based on ligand-based, rational drug design and combinatorial chemistry approaches. Cherukupalli is currently working as a Postdoctoral fellow in the dept. of Chemistry, NTNU, Norway. The Project involves the design and synthesis of novel heterocyclic compounds as anticancer agents based on rational drug design and combinatorial chemistry approaches.
