Forskning
Jeg bruker røntgendiffraksjon til å karakterisere strukturen til materialer, med spesielt fokus på ferroelektriske oksider med tetragonal tungsten bronze struktur. Jeg har erfaring med pulverdiffraksjon og konvensjonel Rietveld analyse, men også resonans diffraksjon, diffraction anomalous fine structure (DAFS) og symmetry mode analyse.
Bakgrunn
Under doktrograden min utviklet jeg hydrotermale syntese ruter for ferroelektriske nanomaterialer. Jeg brukte in situ røntgendiffraksjon til å studere nukleering og vekst i sanntid. Etter det fortsatte jeg med en Postdoktor stilling ved ESRF hvor jeg benyttet meg av de enestående egenskapene til den høyoppløselig pulverdiffraksjon strålelinjen ID22 til å studere små strukturelle endringer i Ba2NaNb5O15 og kation orden/uorden i SrxBa1-xNb2O6.
