Konstantinos Christakos
Om
Konstantinos Christakos is adjunct researcher at the IMT/NTNU and researcher at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. His main research interests include metocean statistics and modelling of wind-generated waves. He is one of the main developers of the open-source Python metocean softwares:
- DNORA for high resolution coastal wave simulations,
- metocean-stats for comprehensive statistics and visualization of metocean data,
- metocean-api for easy extraction of time series of metocean (meteorological and oceanographic) data from various sources (e.g., NORA3, NORKYST).
