Evi Elisa Ambarita

Evi Elisa Ambarita is a PhD candidate in Department of Computer Science at NTNU. She holds a masterdegree in mechanical engineering with specialty in energy conversion, fluid dynamics from University of Indonesia in 2021. Her master project was a study of diffuser augmentation on horizontal axis tidal turbine, as a continued study from Nagasaki University in Japan where she was registered as a research student in 2018-2019. She covered the CFD and FEA simulations, as well as the experimental method where she tested the optimal prototype. She was able to publish three research articles in international peer-reviewed journals within that topic.
Her PhD project is Asset Administration Shell (AAS)-based digital twins following Industry 4.0 standard for offshore wind farms, where she demonstrates the potential for data interoperability, real-time monitoring, and asset management in wind farms. She also addresses the resilience and reliability needs in wind turbine system, where she employes state estimation approach for sensor-attack detection and fault diagnosis.
She is in charge of the PERSEUS project on digital twins for offshore wind farms since 2022.
