I have been working as an associate professor at the Department of Teacher Education since 2019. Prior to this, I worked at the Department of Science and Mathematics Education at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Türkiye from 2011 to 2019.
Research
I am mainly interested in integrating digital technologies into mathematics education, where the key component stands as task design embedded into digital contexts that could invite students to conceptual learning. My current interests are:
- Computational thinking and programming practices in mathematics education, and the development of professional knowledge for teachers.
- Teaching and learning linear algebra.
- Statistical implicative analysis, measure construction, and Rasch rating scale model.
