Angela Daniela La Rosa
Om
Italiensk, M.Sc. i kjemi (1994), Ph.D (2001), en kjemiker med sterkt fokus på polymerkompositter og miljøpåvirkning inkludert livssyklusvurdering (LCA)/Life Cycle Costing (LCC). Fra 2001 har hun en doktorgrad i kjemi av polymerkompositter, utført i Wilton International Research Center (UK), innenfor Strategic Technology Group of ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries), i omtrent tre år. Prof. La Rosa har startet sin utdanning på LCA og LCC i 2006 gjennom et forskningsbesøk ved avdelingen for miljøsystemer, Chalmers tekniska högskola, Gøteborg, og ved å gå på et kurs i livssyklusvurdering ved Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) ) Stockholm, Sverige. Siden den gang har hun publisert flere artikler om LCA av polymerer og polymerkompositter. Prof. La Rosa har lang erfaring fra nasjonale og europeiske forsknings- og innovasjonsprosjekter, og er R&D leder for S.C. All Green S.R.L. (Romania) siden 2016, er hun forfatter av over 60 artikler i tidsskrifter og konferansehandlinger (H-indeks: 20, google scholar 2023). En av hennes nylige artikler vant prisen NAMRC51 Outstanding Paper in Manufacturing Systems og en annen artikkel ble publisert i et Nature-merket tidsskrift. Forskningen hennes fokuserer på bærekraftig produksjon og biobaserte kompositter som tar sikte på å oppfylle SDGs mål ved å handle langs hele verdikjeden, starte med neste generasjons råvarer, og slutte med fullt resirkulerbare produkter som bidrar til å øke tilgjengeligheten av fornybare karbonbaserte komplekse strukturer, deres sirkularitet og mål om null forurensning. LCA brukes for materialvalg og energiforbruk for å oppnå mer miljøvennlige produkter, mens LCC beregner den økonomiske gjennomførbarheten til de undersøkte produktene, i henhold til et strengt metodisk rammeverk beskrevet av ISO 14040 (2006) og av ISO 14044:2018 (2018) standarder.
